Things to do on the Amalfi coast and useful tips

This is a personal selection so feel to do whatever you want! It all also depends on the days you have available.

If you love walking, the Amalfi coast is the one for you! There are many walks to do, the most important are the Path of the Gods. Path that starts in Agerola and ends in Positano. Other important paths are: La Valle delle Ferriere in Amalfi e il Sentiero dei Limoni between Minori and Maiori. In Conca the are various paths that lead to the village of Furore or the Grotta dello Smeraldo (a magnificent grotto, with extraordinary colors located at sea level that can also be accessed with a lift and obviously by boat starting from Amalfi). From Conca you can also reach the hamlet of Vettica and then Pogerola and then get to Amalfi to the stairs.

In general, anyone can create their own personal path, depending on the time and the desire they have!

If you want to go to the sea, Conca dei Marini has a small beach, then there are Amalfi, Atrani, Minori, Maiori and Positano which have larger and more equipped beaches. If you don’t want to move too much and want to have an out of the ordinary experience, there is the Zipline between Conca and Furore, a suspended flight on a 600 meter long steel rope ( ziplineitalia.it/it). A few meters from the Balcone a Vista there is also the office as well as parking bus of the Amalfi Wine Tour (winetouramalficoast.com), a wonderful experience for wine lovers. Also in Conca, the restaurant Bontà del Capo, near Balcone a Vista, also organizes the Limoncello Tour ( lebontadelcapo.it/limoncello-tour/ ).

If you want to stop in Amalfi, there is the SilverMoon beach resort, where Alessia works with her family, and gives Balcone a Vista guests a 20% discount on umbrella and sunbed rental. In the SilverMoon there is Alessia’s mother who makes an excellent pizza, very very light and Alessia prepares appetizers, salads and delicious sandwiches served with excellent cocktails prepared by the cousins. We are waiting for you!
